To get started on making these beautiful flowers you are going to need to punch out 11 circles.  Once you have your circles cut you are going to set once circle aside and begin folding the remaining ten.

You are going to fold one side of your circle inward and then fold the oposite inward to form a V shape.  Just a note, each cirlce doesn’t have to be identical, just try and keep the size of the V close to the same.

Once you have all of your circles folded you age going to take your flat circle and start placing your folded circles on it making sure that each cirle lines next to each other to form your flower.

I usually set mine out first to make sure that I like the way it looks before I glue it onto the circle.  depending on how big you want your flower you may want to add or take away circles to get your desired look.

This is what it should look like once you have it all glued together.  At this point you are going to want to ink the edged of your flower if you wish to have them inked.  Once you have finshed inking your edge you are going to attach your decorative button or brad.

I hope that you have enjoyed this tutorial and I hope that it has given you great inspiration for your next project.  Stay tuned for more tutorials on how to do paper flowers and other helpful tips for your future projects.

The design captures a vintage genre because of the button added. Such a creative technique. :) Embellishments are important elements in scrapbooking. However, these tiny decorative items can make or break your design. So before pasting and adding embellishments be sure to plan things out and check if they are appropriate for the layout! Let’s get scrappin’!
